Some life I burnt in the search of the absolute in life,
\nSome I expended at the altar of knowledge of nature,
\nThe life thus lived lumbered on the unsmooth terrain of life.<\/p>\n
To punish me for the pursuit of perfection,
\nFate made my life very imperfect.<\/p>\n
Joys that visited me I took with the natural appreciation of life,
\nPains I absorbed with religious indifference,
\nThe mindless struggle with the world I suffered with contempt,
\nWorldly wisdom in many cases appeared an immoral compromise.<\/p>\n
I was neglected in the childhood but I survived that,
\nBut childhood still flows in me like a cool breeze on a hot summer day,
\nAn awake-dream filling the contours of time.<\/p>\n
Awareness of the universe streamed in gradually,
\nRicocheting from the durable inner harmony into knowledge,
\nLife looked a fairy tale.<\/p>\n
Later I was told that growing up required
\nReplacing the fairy tale with things as they were,
\nBut after a lot of life I learned that fairy tale was the right vision of life,
\nAs it was more human and meaningful than the reality.<\/p>\n
I was knocked down many times in my journey,
\nBut like a joker at a children\u2019s party,
\nAfter every fall I would get up, dust off, and go on again.<\/p>\n
After a while I realized that it was the world
\nThat was the enemy of the soul,
\nIt stains the pristine freedom we come with
\nAnd corrupts our natural values.<\/p>\n
So I transformed my demons into dreams,
\nBroke my worldly ties to breathe free again.<\/p>\n
Life is an enigma, a parable, a puzzle that makes one think and wonder,
\nIf one knew what it was then one could find out how to live it.
\nBut in life you find one is both the singer as well as the song,
\nThe light as wells as the candle that produces it,
\nNo wonder life gives a good run to humans to fathom it,
\nThough not in any malice,
\nBut due to its personality to innocently hide its secrets.<\/p>\n
