(Vers. 2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the corridors of my mind I searched for who am I?<br \/>\nI combed through the myriad layers of my history,<br \/>\nI probed my deepest sensations,<br \/>\nI looked in the mosaic of my living and dead emotions.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing I could find was<br \/>\nAn \u201cI\u201d forever accompanying me.<br \/>\nAlways invisible, almost always silent,<br \/>\nBut always watching everything I do.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think he is my master,<br \/>\nHe doesn\u2019t seem to run my life,<br \/>\nBut he is always there,<br \/>\nWatching, watching.<\/p>\n<p>Once in a while he gets upset<br \/>\nOver something I have done,<br \/>\nBut an invisible barrier precludes our dialog.<\/p>\n<p>When my journey is over,<br \/>\nWill he follow me in eternity?<\/p>\n<p>Note: A poem by the same title was published on 1.31.2010.<br \/> It is poem number 78 in the Poems section of my website indicated below.<\/p>\n<p>Suffern, <br \/>New York,<br \/> March 23, 2012<br \/>\nwww.kaulscorner.com<br \/>\nmaharaj.kaul@yahoo.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the corridors of my mind I searched for who am I?
