Frozen star you have more warmth<\/p>\n
Than we have on earth,<\/p>\n
Though you live 4.5 light-years away,<\/p>\n
Just above the Absolute Zero.<\/p>\n

We on earth are killing each other at regular intervals,<\/p>\n
Squandering the wisdom of our religions,<\/p>\n
Denying us the radiation of our hearts –<\/p>\n
Satan in us never rests.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The lust for material glory is endless,<\/p>\n
The power of the ego unblinking,<\/p>\n
We want to be Gods,<\/p>\n
But without their compassion.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Much as I walked through the corridors of the world,<\/p>\n
Much I heard the shrill noises of self-glory,<\/p>\n
Much I saw the lust of materialism,<\/p>\n
Much I felt the sickness of narcissism.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It seems mankind and wisdom are<\/p>\n
Like an asymptote and a curve,<\/p>\n
Closer they get,<\/p>\n
But yet they never meet.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dear frozen star,<\/p>\n
I wish I had never visited earth,<\/p>\n
Let alone its world,<\/p>\n
I would have liked to live in eternity with you.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
