In the end comes the end of a man,
\nWho has been a ceaseless engine of action,
\nWhose brow has envisioned a billion visions,
\nWhose mind has reasoned a billion thoughts,
\nWhich switch off at death as if all the stars in the heavens have extinguished.<\/p>\n
Man\u2019s thousand-mile journey comes to an end.,
\nIn a blazing transformation,
\nA miraculous blend of action and thought turns to a bundle of flesh,
\nThe corporeal component of life stands without a spark,
\nThe magic has evaporated forever.<\/p>\n
Death is a state of matter,
\nWhose energy is forever conserved,
\nMatter changes forms but never disappears.
\nMan may live after death through his works,
\nDeath is a punctuation mark in a long description.<\/p>\n
Beyond our human form,
\nOur flesh and bones disintegrate back into elementary particles,
\nChanging one agglomeration to another.
\nUniverse is our only religion.<\/p>\n
Human flesh and human ideas
\nAre parallel lines,
\nWhich must coexist but remain separate,
\nInfluencing each other.
\nThis seemingly incomprehensible relationship
\nHas remained a dagger in the heart of science, religion, and philosophy.<\/p>\n
Immortality is not nature\u2019s way,
\nBut a fantasy in human mind,
\nIts power has beckoned many a soul
\nTo transcend the material barrier,
\nIn search of timelessness.<\/p>\n
The shadow of death,
\nLike the transparent sheet of time hanging over us,
\nSurrounds us through life.
\nIts fear triggers a thousand shields to survive,
\nIts certainty is the ultimate relief to some.<\/p>\n
Standing on earth, man has pierced deep in universe,
\nTo find connection with it,
\nMan\u2019s immortal work is ideas,
\nWhich nature may not perish.<\/p>\n
Human life is a dizzying splendor of possibilities,
\nPerhaps the supreme act of nature,
\nDeath does end it in physical form,
\nBut does not diminish its conceptual immortality,
