We exult in the thought of freedom,
\nThough knowing not what it is,
\nMore is known about freedom as idea
\nThan its experience.<\/p>\n
To be free is not to live as we wish,
\nThink as we like,
\nBut to live with ourselves without rancor,
\nAnd with the universe in resonant harmony.<\/p>\n
Freedom does not come only from the outside,
\nWithout the inner freedom there is no freedom.
\nLife is an inner music trying to find resonance outside,
\nFreedom is the realization of life\u2019s unlimited potential.<\/p>\n
We weave ourselves into the fabric of life so much,
\nTill the fabric corrodes and imprisons our spirit,
\nClouds our dreams and corrupts our soul,
\nMaking life a night unmitigated.<\/p>\n
We look at the stars,
\nAnd see their eternal grandeur,
\nTheir lonely brilliance
\nPulls us free from our fetters.<\/p>\n
Does not freedom mean
\nRising above our petty selves and mores,
\nSubsuming our selves in the majesty of universe,
\nLiving for grand ideas and not for merely personal ends.<\/p>\n
Freedom is not the dilution of responsibility,
\nBut believing in the vision behind it,
\nIt is not selfishness but the selfless appreciation of everything,
\nNot withdrawal from the world but the passionate involvement in it.<\/p>\n
In freedom the spirit soars,
\nThe universe is connected,
\nLife becomes an idea,
