{"id":986,"date":"2010-10-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2010-10-14T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stagingserver3.com\/Maharaj\/why-do-i-keep-my-lonely-ways\/"},"modified":"2010-10-14T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2010-10-14T00:00:00","slug":"why-do-i-keep-my-lonely-ways","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stagingserver3.com\/Maharaj\/why-do-i-keep-my-lonely-ways\/","title":{"rendered":"Why   Do   I   Keep   My   Lonely   Ways?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You ask me why do I keep my lonely ways.<\/p>\n<p>The nature in me longs to come out of the convoluted depths,<br \/>To reconfigure my life, to enrich my mind.<br \/>I am an element of nature seeking the grand experience \u2013<br \/>But there are an array of forces fighting the elemental urge.<\/p>\n<p>Heart asks for peace, justice, and brotherhood;<br \/>Mind sees them as fitting architecture of ideas to live by.<br \/>But the world is soaked in greed, blindness, and ignorance.<br \/>It suffocates the grand visions of mankind;<br \/>It sows war, falsehood, strife;<br \/>It corrupts pure, natural impulses;<br \/>Replacing them with narrow earthly concerns.<br \/>It supplants natural freedom with material cages;<br \/>Poetry with petty survival wisdom.<\/p>\n<p>Another human is a reflection of existence.<br \/>Human relationship is a door of liberation,<br \/>But culture and world have turned them into functional ties,<br \/>Laced with selfishness and insecurity,<br \/>A mirror of the inner disorder and turmoil.<\/p>\n<p>We live in a world of insane goals;<br \/>Of acquisitions, ego, power;<br \/>An existence woven in hollow, tinsel strands;<br \/>A life punctuated by mad, pointless rush.<br \/>Success is designed to curb, not liberate;<br \/>Manic economic competition sours our soul toward the fellow human.<\/p>\n<p>You ask me why do I keep my lonely ways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You ask me why do I keep my lonely ways.
