When the sky shines blue
\nAnd a tremulous and luscious breeze is afloat
\nAnd when an evening lifts up into an ethereal mood,
\nDo not think of me but pay homage to the majesty of nature,<\/p>\n
When the intimations of spring steal through winter
\nAnd hope rushes and stands on insubstantial ground,
\nDelight in tomorrow to be,
\nLet faith cross the chasms.<\/p>\n
Each daybreak is a faith that God thinks of us,
\nEach heartbeat is a tribute to his work.
\nLife is a boat sailing on the heaving bosom of nature,
\nIts glory is transcendent.<\/p>\n
The churn of the day to day worldly turmoil
\nIs a distraction to the spirit of man.
\nEach worldly involvement is a moment lost
\nIn the pursuit of the eternal.<\/p>\n
Take the world in a detached way,
\nNever surrendering your freedom and peace.
\nLive for larger than life goals,
\nKeeping in view the grandeur of life.<\/p>\n
Touch the ills of the world,
\nReduce a little of its sorrow,
\nEase a trifle of its burden,
\nRedeem a sliver of its natural glory.<\/p>\n
My life came to its natural end,
\nA long journey\u2019s just culmination.
\nIt crossed your path,
\nBut your way must remain undeflected.<\/p>\n
Let my shadow not mar your light,
\nMy history create detours in your plans.
\nLive for your dreams,
\nPast will settle by itself.<\/p>\n
Do not burden yourself with my absence \u2013
\nI belong now to the particles of the universe.
\nAfloat in its timelessness,
\nPart of its immensity.<\/p>\n
I am with you all the time.
\nYou can see me in the gusts of breeze
\nGreeting the wild flowers,
\nIn blueness of the sky on a clear bright day.<\/p>\n
I am in the drops of a rain falling torrentially
\nAfter a long sultry day.
\nIn the mysterious calm of a lake;
\nIn the silence on the high mountaintops.<\/p>\n
We are bound by eternal love –
\nThe one that does not know the world.
\nPropelled by its own engine;
\nIt seeks a God unknown.<\/p>\n
