Sarah is a registered psychologist who works collaboratively with adults in both assessment and counselling. Sarah is trained in psycho-educational and cognitive assessment and has experience working with neurodivergent populations, including assessment of autism and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Sarah has also worked in counselling roles with clients seeking support for psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship and interpersonal issues, life and role transition difficulties. Sarah employs evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness. Sarah focuses on building a respectful, positive and safe therapeutic alliance with clients. She aims to help individuals develop an awareness and understanding of both past and current life experiences, and the impact they can have on mental health. Sarah seeks to help clients identify maladaptive patterns and behaviours and learn new skills to encourage psychological growth and improve wellbeing.
