Lynn Tan

Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology (Monash University)

Lynn completed her Master’s in Educational and Developmental Psychology and Master of Counselling at Monash University. Before joining the psychology profession, Lynn worked in the education sector in Singapore, gaining extensive experience with children from diverse backgrounds and various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and specific learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia).

In her previous role, Lynn provided educational intervention to children with varied learning challenges in literacy and numeracy. She also has counselling experience providing support to young clients with anxiety, social or emotional issues and transitional difficulties at school. Lynn strongly believes in the uniqueness of each child and tailors her interventions to address individual needs, developing personalised strategies to manage their difficulties.

Recognising the significance of physical, emotional, and psychological well-being in a child’s learning, Lynn values collaboration with families and professionals in a child’s learning environment. She is trained to conduct cognitive and educational assessments and is proficient in both English and Mandarin. She enjoys working with culturally diverse populations and strongly believes in fostering an environment where every child can realise their full potential.
