Clinically, Sharen has over a decade of experience assessing Autism and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), including differential and co-occurring presentations, across the lifespan. She regularly collaborates and consults with medical and allied health professionals to prepare comprehensive, high-quality assessment reports that support funding, educational, and functional planning pathways, including NDIS and Disability Support Pension applications.
As an EMDR and Art therapist, Sharen also provides psychotherapy for neurodivergent individuals and professional support for families, with a focus on identity development and strengths-based care. She has a particular interest in early identification and intervention, and delivers parent education, training, and workshops to support families of young autistic children, particularly within culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Australia.
As Clinical Director, Sharen oversees clinical governance oversight, operational leadership, and strategic direction at Sprout Psychology Melbourne, ensuring services align with current professional standards and best-practice frameworks. She works alongside experienced internal and external supervisors to support clinician development while maintaining clear professional boundaries and sustainable supervision structures.
Sharen is deeply committed to community engagement and collaboration in support of CALD and neurodivergent communities. Her work reflects a strong belief in accessible, respectful, accountable, and culturally informed psychological care across the lifespan.
