As a doctor in pharmacy, Lashunda strives to provide comfort and care for her patients through careful formulations of treatments that could potentially save their lives. Her passion for serving others began by working as a young girl with her father, Dr. John Williams in his private practice. The desire to work in the healthcare industry was sparked by her father, which led to a pharmacy position at Walgreens. In the Rio Grande Valley area, Lashunda helped to fill prescriptions, process paperwork for patients, and consult patients with potential drug interactions and side effects. Additionally, she served as liaison with insurance companies, ensuring that the patient received the benefits they were entitled to through their benefits program. As a pharmacist, Lashunda is very precise and careful, calculating the exact medication to dispense based on previous patient tolerance and body weight. She is also remarkably familiar with current state and federal regulations and manages all paperwork for compliance with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
