I\u2019m Rob Hunter, owner and sole operator of Tamborine Mountain Bodywork. I started the business in 2019, just before COVID, in response to ongoing dissatisfaction from clients who felt that many massage clinics offered rushed relaxation sessions with benefits that didn\u2019t last. I expanded my services into full bodywork, incorporating the osteopathic principles I\u2019ve studied\u2014where problems are holistically assessed and treated using the most advanced techniques available. I\u2019ve developed a way to bring this \u201cclinic\u201d experience directly to your home, on your schedule\u2014after work, Saturdays, or before school\u2014at a time that suits you.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m an ordinary Tamborine resident with a passion for helping people in pain. I\u2019m over 65 a grandfather, a gardener, a dog owner, and a lifelong student. I\u2019ve lived here for 21 years and hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage and a Degree in Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies), and I\u2019m an accredited Complex Lymphoma practitioner. I support clients who can\u2019t attend a formal physical therapy clinic due to work or family commitments, mobility challenges, disability, fatigue, stress, or time pressures. Me<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/header>\n

I\u2019m the owner and operator of\u00a0Tamborine Mountain Bodywork<\/strong>. This is a mobile massage service, established at the end of 2019, providing relaxation and remedial therapy to the residents of Tamborine Mountain, Tamborine, Mundoolin, Wonglepong, Biddaddaba,\u00a0 Canungra, Clagiraba and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

Why Mobile?<\/h4>\n

It\u2019s mobile because I found that clients attending clinic wanted privacy, their own music, their own bathroom, the ability to answer a phone call or attend to a child when needed. Mostly, it was the ability to schedule an important relaxation or therapeutic session into your day rather than change the day around a \u201cvisit\u201d. Clinic attendance was simply an inconvenience, so many who should have benefited simply passed it by for \u201canother
