As we expand throughout the Tampa Bay region, we are seeking a high-energy Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition, build lasting partnerships, and help grow the regional presence.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle within the staffing industry. This is a hands-on, field-based sales role ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, networking, meeting clients face-to-face, and closing new accounts.


You will work closely with recruiting teams to deliver staffing solutions that support client growth and operational success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute business development strategies across the Tampa Bay region
  • Prospect new clients through calls, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, referrals, and in-person visits
  • Conduct discovery meetings, facility tours, and client consultations
  • Understand workforce needs and present customized staffing solutions
  • Generate new job orders and collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful placements
  • Build long-term client relationships and expand existing accounts
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and track activities
  • Represent the Jomsom Staffing brand professionally within the local business community
  • Attend networking events, industry meetings, and local business functions

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5+ years of staffing industry sales experience (required)
  • Experience selling light industrial and/or administrative staffing services
  • Proven success generating new business and opening accounts
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comfortable with outbound sales activity and field-based work
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Transportation required


COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
