Addiction is an illness that affects every part of you – your body, your family, your work environment, your finances, and nearly all other aspects of your life. This is why the Morse Clinic takes a whole-patient approach, combining medication with counseling to treat opioid use disorders.
If you are ready to face your addiction, the ultimate goal is long lasting sobriety and getting your life back in order. Our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs treat the physical
symptoms of addiction, reducing or eliminating cravings and severe withdrawal symptoms.
While medications like Methadone and Buprenorphine can be extremely effective for long-term maintenance of opiate addiction, they are not a “cure” for addiction. As part of your treatment plan, you will be required to participate in Individual and Group Counseling, focusing on identifying and addressing each part of your life that has been affected by addiction.
