It can be prescribed after seeing\u00a0one of our medical providers. The injection would be\u00a0given by a Morse Clinic nurse into the buttock of your choice. The medicine may or may not require\u00a0prior authorization. Patients getting Vivitrol at the Morse Clinics do need to provide urine drug\u00a0tests and\u00a0see their counselor at the OTP.<\/p>\n<p>If you have Medicaid or Medicare that we contract with, your services may be at no cost to you.\u00a0If you have other insurance that we do not contract with or no insurance, the cost is $250\/month plus\u00a0the cost of the medicine (about $1200) or your copay which may vary with your insurance at the\u00a0pharmacy of your choice.
