doing something with your body that raises your heart rate and puts your body into motion by using your muscles to burn calories.<\/p>\n<p>Working out (using your muscles and burning calories) can come in all flavors:\u00a0 mowing your yard, pruning rose bushes or trees, playing with your children, walking your dog, swimming, biking, weight training, etc, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The big concept for continued fitness improvement and benefit is to keep doing it.\u00a0 Consistency is key!\u00a0 For that reason, give it parameters that will make it sustainable.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here we go\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>Before you get into anything hardcore, check with your doctor if you have any medical conditions which should hold you back or moderate what\/how you do stuff.\u00a0 When you\u2019re good to go, here are some parameters to consider:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Total fitness should focus on both aerobic and strength conditioning.<\/li>\n<li>Of course, your end goal may have you focus one of these but they both should be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Shoot to work out for at least 2 hours per week.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Make doing the workout convenient;
