Linda is a native-born Texan who resides in League City, Texas with her husband, Rick. She is a former teacher and school administrator who started researching the ancient form of mosaics after visiting Europe when she was a young adult. After retirement, she started studying the art form by reading everything about the subject. Her passion was so deep, she travelled extensively across the United States taking classes from some of the most renown mosaic artists in the country. She applied their techniques but has also adapted her own style of contemporary mosaics with each piece she creates. Her specialties include designer mirrors; pet portraits; glass-on-glass murals, as well as creating beautiful pictures from vintage costume jewelry. She strives to offer artwork that is uplifting and brings joy to the heart.

This birdhouse is completely waterproof because it’s made with bonded Lucite. Predrilled holes are on the bottom for easy attachment to the pole plate. The materials used are materials that will not rust, fade, or crack due to extreme temperature changes. It was then grouted with special epoxy grout and sealed for extra durability.
