The Lafayette Prayer Room is a community or believers committed to God, each other, and to establishing and maintaining a prayer room in Lafayette, Louisiana. Our vision is to work in relationship with the churches of Lafayette and surrounding areas as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.
The Lafayette Prayer Room is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purposes that impact evesphere of society. It is our conviction that the atmosphere of a city/region/state can change when night and day prayer & worship go up. We want to create a dwelling place in the Lafayette area where God can rest.
Our aim is to go long hours in the Prayer Room focusing on Jesus through the Word, through intercession, and worship. As we dial-down on the inside and set our attention and affection on Him, we get much more revelation. We believe He is worth spending our time and energy on. Join us as we set our hearts to love God, worship Him alone, and yield our lives to serving Him in the place of worship and prayer without reservation.

Inside the Prayer Room
All are welcome in the prayer room. While in the prayer room, feel free to join in the worship and prayer, read your Bible, study, journal, or engage in private prayer. You may sit, stand, or pace up and down the aisles. Whatever you do, we ask that you do it in a manner that honors and serves the other people and is not disruptive to their time in the prayer room.

Mondays
2:00-6:00pm – The International House of Prayer in
Kansas City is live-streamed.
6:00-8:00pm – Monday night meetings alternate –
Intercession Nights – Live worship,
prayer for the: Intercessors of Lafayette,
Next Generation, First Commandment
first in the churches of Lafayette.
Class Nights – A short time of worship,
a teaching, followed by discussion.
Fridays
10:00am-12:00pm Set – Prayer for Louisiana’s orphans, foster care & adoptive homes, praying against
abortion, for those in poverty. This set we join in with the International House of
Prayer in KC.
1:00pm-3:00pm Set – Live worship, Worship with the Word, worshiping and diving into a bible passage.
Saturday’s
Alternating times – Afternoons, 12:00-3:00pm / Nights, 5:00-8:00pm
12:00-2:00pm – Saturday Afternoons (every other Sat. afternoon) – Live worship
12:00pm – Intercession: Louisiana’s intercessors, dunkenness and addiction, Louisiana
governmental leaders, prayer for Israel.
1:00pm – Worship with the Word – Focusing on a bible passage followed by a discussion.
5:00-7:00pm – Saturday Nights (every other Sat. night) – Live worship
5:00pm – Intercession: In Louisiana – Praying against pornography, human trafficking, praying
for men/fathers.
6:00pm – Worship with the Word set focusing on a bible passage followed by a discussion.
